Becoming the best version of myself…
I had always been bigger than most girls my age growing up, even my best friend was stick thin. I didn’t have a lot of support throughout middle and high school when it came to exercise, and was more encouraged by those around me to work at a job rather than be healthy, and active. I have had a lot of sadness and loss; as well as trauma from a past abusive relationship; I had it in the back of my head that just when things were starting to look up for me that something always bad would happen, and that is just how my life would always be. I also looked at my stress triggers that cause me to crash in my fitness and personal life goals; how can I stop the panic and feelings of guilt and work through them with a plan. If anything just even with one day plan. I also learned to stop trying to do it all as a mom with one in college and two at home. I would feel overwhelmed feeling like I need to put my family first and I wasn’t taking care of myself, physically or mentally like I needed to be.
